The art of heating up - proper stacking

Starting a fire takes some practice. However, if the wood is piled up as follows, even inexperienced people should quickly succeed in with the “fire making”:

• First build up large logs around to heat them up quickly and catch fire quickly.
• Pilen on the floor wood chips and slightly crumpled newspaper.
• Stack a shoe box full of small and medium logs upright leaning over the newspaper.
• Ignite the newspaper so that the flames can work from the bottom up.
